Rimbaud disait : "Il faut être voyant, se faire voyant". Mais peindre comme tout autre activité réclame du temps et de l'espace. Vos premières oeuvres, celles que j'ai vues sont celles du refus. Vous ne peignez ni le beau, ni le vrai mais l'étrange ou la dérision, avec dans la forme un souci peu commun de la perfection technique. On dirait que vous évitez d'affronter le visible, le comparable, le concret, l'aimable. Comme si vous désiriez qu'on vous sache "souffrant" et lucide. Et voici votre nouvelle manière qui est le résultat éclatant, d'une ascèse, dont vous m'avez décrit le cheminement.

Rimbaud said : "It is necessary to be visible,to be noticed". But to paint, as well as other activities requires time and space. Your first works, the ones I saw,are works of denial.You painted neither beauty nor truth but rather the unfamiliar, the unimportant, but however with great attention and concern for technical perfection. It looks as if you want to avoid the obvious, the mundane, the benign. As if you wished to be known as "suffering"; acutely aware. And this is your way, the result of a long climb you took through torturous paths.
